The wines of "Kapellenhof 5" grow and arise in the sunny hills of the Selztal, the Rhine-Hessian Tuscany. This is where a centuries-old wine tradition meets modern know-how and a love of wine.
Our new rosé tells of this with its freshness, clarity and strength, perfect for toasting with friends on long summer evenings. There is also a spicy, balanced gray Burgundy, a Sauvignon Blanc with a crackling freshness and peppery character, a lively, mineral Riesling and a tangy, sparkling Secco - all of which are available in limited special editions in the first 2020 vintage.

Hello, may I introduce myself, my name is Christian Schätzel, the 5th generation as a creative winemaker at the Kapellenhof.
Since my youth I have associated the long tradition of wine culture in our family business and the enjoyment of our wines with home.
Under the label Kapellenhof 5 I would like to express this attitude towards life and carry the technical knowledge and quality of the Kapellenhof into the future as the next generation.
I hope you enjoy the next generation from the Kapellenhof winery!
